Computer Science & Env. Engineering @ Columbia University

I’m a Computer Science student at Columbia University interested in AI, climate, data, and complex systems. I’ve worked across AI engineering, venture capital, sustainable food, and energy, with projects in machine learning, automation, and environmental systems.

Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, fashion, coffee, gardening, and working out.

Regenerative Garden Planner

Game-like planner for laying out regenerative gardens on a to-scale plot. A deterministic TypeScript rules engine, decoupled from the React UI, evaluates companion pairings, spacing, and sun exposure in real time and explains every result using a 16-species dataset sourced from university extension research. Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security) powers Google and magic-link auth with debounced, retrying autosave, and saved data is versioned and validated on load. Backed by 250 Vitest tests and GitHub Actions CI.

Energy / Power Signal Work

Full-stack explorer for comparing appliance power cycles across three public energy-disaggregation datasets (ECO, DEDDIAG, Tracebase). A FastAPI and Pandas backend serves Parquet-backed cycle data through typed Pydantic endpoints with pagination, in-memory caching, and server-side downsampling. The React frontend filters cycles by dataset, house, appliance, and statistical rank (z-score, percentile, quartile), then overlays selected cycles on a shared, start-aligned time axis with drag-to-zoom and real and reactive power traces.

Heatmap

Interactive choropleth of smart-meter adoption across 42 European countries, rendered from GeoJSON with React Leaflet. Each country is shaded on a seven-step adoption scale with live hover tooltips, and clicking opens a detail panel covering household metrics, meter-type breakdown, network type, read frequency, and rollout policy. Built on a typed TypeScript data model that computes and clamps adoption rates from raw household and meter counts.
